I was out yesterday and had a trolling bite going. I decided to use the grid feature. I opened Wapoint Management selected a waypoint clicked on the grid option and the screen froze up. I was in split screen with sonar on the left side and the map on the right. Now, for the scarier part. I shut the unit down, and restarted it. The start screen came up I pushed menu selection and the unit showed me a screen saying it was shutting down, then the start screen came back up and it started.
I have upgraded to 6.18. I did the upgrade exactly as suggested. Set back to default, download, default again etc. I am going on a week long fishing trip in a week.
Anyone have this occur?
Oh, by the way, I had used the grid feature last week and earlier in that same day that the freeze up occurred.
