Curious...Salt VS Fresh Water
« on: June 28, 2011, 08:54:46 AM »
I'm curious to see what percentage of users are Salt Water or Fresh Water anglers. I see a lot of posts about TM transducers and units on the console and bow. I also wonder if there should be a seperate option for the salt water anglers to post questions-tips-tricks for the sonar/SI use on HB units.

Actually i'm fishing both, salt and freshwater with the same boat and device. I've to say that there are not many differences. I'm even using same sesivity settings with no problem. Only change is the enlarged distance on saltwater due to more deepth and range, at that point a good setup is needed to have less electrical indifferences on your output.
