Title: SCAM- Buying Humminbird from District Electronics

On March 9, 2011 I placed an order with District Electronics (www.districtelectronics.com (http://www.districtelectronics.com)) for a Humminbird 798 CI HD, to date they have charged around $9000.00 to my account for the unit.   My credit card company discovered the scam and notified me and reissued a new credit card number.
Beware of this company. >:D

Did they ship you a 798 hd or just shaft your card.

After the credit card company became aware District Electronics cancelled my order without comment.

If you are still looking there are some good dealers on the bass boat central website.  I purchased from them with no problems.

You can also buy the units directly from the Humminbird site.
