#1 Starboard bow posted by Jolly Roger in Winter 2009 - 2010 March 22, 2010, 03:58:59 PM 739
That's how the bow looked after it was pressure hosed in fall last year.
The old paint got partly washed away. Note the colour difference above and under the waterline: Everything under the waterline was "easy" to romove, because the water washed the antfouling off during the years and the thickness there wasn't too bad. Everything above: A fiasco by all means! The layers had build up to 2 - 3 mm thickness and since it wasn't exposed to the water too much, it was still hard as hell.

2011 Z-6 Transducer 997c si. This was the only place I could see working. If the strap wasnt there I could have moved further over. These z-6 dont have a real good spot for the transducer, I almost canceled the install because of it. I wasnt sure how it would end up working but Im happy to say I took the boat out this morning and it actually worked great.

2011 Z-6 Nitro, the ram mount base wouldnt mount up very well due to the difference in height between the console and the actual side of the boat. I ended up taking the arm off the base, drilling one hole and installing a large washer . I used the bolt that came in the arm and put it up through the whole I drilled from the bottom. I installed the rubber next , then the arm finishing off the with the quick connect threaded top that came on the arm. It all worked nicely,  it also retained its swivel motion.
