Sub Recordings
« on: May 15, 2010, 09:06:16 AM »
After fat fingering the initial recordings I got out last night and captured another valid set of recordings but made another logistical error in that the recording is 2 hours long and is a bit hard for Humviewer and Google Earth to handle.

So sub-recordings seem to be the path but each time I create one, I get an error that the .dat file is not a valid 64 byte sonar file

What am I doing wrong this time ?  :)

I get various error messages everytime I play back a recording on Humviewer. I just close that message box and the recording loads and plays fine.

The usual recording time that helps external viewers run best is about 15 to 20 minutes.  Another help in the viewer is to trnsfer the recorded files to the pc first.

Yeah, tried reloading, no dice !

Thanks Chuck, I'll try and remember that  ;D (next time)

Shame you can't set it to rotate every x minutes, sounds like a feature request !  Does HB have a forum for submitting feature requests ?

How does one contact Martin about the sub-recording issue? Sure would like to see the sub-recordings capability work in HumViewer...
