997c SI & AS GPS HS antenna
« on: August 20, 2013, 09:23:13 PM »
The HB website does not show the 997 as compatible with the AS GPS HS antenna ...

Anyone have confirmation...yes or no for sure ... ??

If yes...which minimum software version would it require...??

Rickie

Rickie,
The AS-GPS-HS requires a minimum software version of 6.570.
The last software update for the 997c Si units was 6.300.
So no, the 997 units cannot use the GPS-HS GPS Receiver.

Thanks Greg...

I guess it won't be an option for 1 of my buds at crappie.com then...

Just don't let them get the GRP and GPS-HS GPS Receivers confused...   ::)
Wish they would have used more distinguishable names for these products.
