on the settings menu ...
lakemaster setings ... within autocharts pro...
what does number of colors 1...10 do the map i cant see the diffrence when i change it and calculate map??
the instructions as far as manipulating the lake master data /map is weak at best!!
having been a former DRdepth user i understand most of the software quite well but fail to find much info on the new lakemaster parts of the software

According to the on-line help guide:
"Display - Depth colors. Controls how colors are applied to a LakeMaster depth map
when displayed (just like the setting with the same name on your Humminbird unit)."

ya saw that...but changing the values doesnt affect the map ..even if i create map again?

Dave Steeg, I think I have it. After you make your map, take and turn off the black contours. Then turn on contours, then go to tools-settings-lakemaster and change the number of colors and hit OK. You will see a change in your map. Try it with one and then different number of colors.NEAT.

new problems......
i created a map with autocharts shorelines...(not very accurate) and updated my sd zerolines card...
then decided to draw my own improved shore line in google earth and import
then created map with my new improved shorelines and updated zerolines sd card
but the zerolones sd card map includes an ovelap of the old data i dont want!
does anyone know how to edit the sd zerolines card map??
it seems i can edit the map on the pc but not the sd card data??
[attachimg=1] suggestions?? see attached image i put a waypoint on the incorrect data i wish to edit

update on editing zerolines data on card ....
i called HB support was told that once data is written to card it cant be changed ,
so they advised me to delete the AC file on the zerolines card and start over with new map ...
so i re created a new map with my own shorelines(way more accurate then zerolines data!) ...it created a new AC file on card ,and all is good now
ps other option is to work off local copy of map on PC before exporting to zerolines card so you dont have to start all over
P.S .HB support is limited ...you may have to ask for a supervisor !

Dave I'm not sure as iv been only using AC for a few days, But it seem like I have made changes to a map on my card. I re create the map with the changes and upload to the sd. It goes through the same saving process as when I first made the map. I'm using the pro version. But that shouldn't make a difference.

trytoofish,,
sorry i should have been more clear...
u can add data to the card and update as you go ....but what i was trying to do was delete/erase data outside of the shoreline that had already been written to card .
see prevous post i put a waypoint on problem area i was trying to get rid of
the blue outline is my own handdrawn shoreline (zerolines default shorelines not very accurate in CANADA they must have used mapquest or other rather then GE to draw zerolines shoreline )
