Topic: ethernet confusion!!!

I just got a 798ci hd si today and I plan on connecting it to my i-pilot terrova us2 transducer. I also plan on connecting it to my 998c si by ethernet. which has a XHS 9 HDSI 180 T and a XNT 9 20 transducer connected to it via an AS SIDB Y cable. My question is how will I hook up my i-link when i get it. Will I have to buy the AS ETH 5PS switch. Which cost around $200.00!!!

Yes.  Only way to hook multiple ethernet device together.
