Title: 899 Trolling motor interference
Post by: Poscast on May 31, 2015, 12:14:24 PM
Anyone ever had this happen?  I took my transducer off the transom and mounted it to the trolling motor and now on all channels when the troller is running there is "fuzz" on the screen specifically noticeable in the water column on both DI and SI.  The sonar "clear mode" isn't as clear and the "max mode" is anything but clear and the sensitivities are turned down to 3.  Any thoughts?  Help?  Thanks.

Thanks for the response.  I'll give them a call after I try running it without my HDS running off the transom.  I don't think it's that though since when the troller isn't running there is no interference minus the chart speed 2 issue with any level of sensitivity turned on which really sucks since 2mph is my normal troll speed.
