Where is the transducer for the 1198 mounted?
Will it still be in contact with water at speed?
If not, consider either adjusting/relocating the HDSi transducer or purchase an XP-9-20 inside-the-hull transducer and an AS-Si-DB-Y cable if your boat has a fiberglass hull.
