Jig barely seen in RTS
« on: November 17, 2018, 10:44:38 AM »
I can bareley see my jig in RTS High Frequecy.

In the historiescreen of high frequentie my baits trail is not drawn up, there's no positive signal in the RTS piece of the screen in high frequenties.
We must use the higher frequentie 2D sonar because the cone is smaller, therefore the position of the fish is less of a guess.
Not showing the jig is a problem because we target fish which we keep directly in the RTS screen, by driving the boat, following the fish.

If we come to fast in the vision of the fish he's gone, so reacting on what is visible on the history trail is not a good work arround.

Maybee some Solix user with a settings solution, to show up more definition in the RTS ?

My transducer is perfectly horizontal in the water when we fish.
The bait is inside the cone for sure, almost directly under the center of the transducer.

In the attachment you see from left to right:  Di with the fish clearly vissible, 2D screen with the jig trail and fish trail, in lower frequenties and on the right higher frequenties.

2d SwitchFire Max will give the most data displayed  ... regardless of frequency  ...

And a higher scroll speed will stretch the available echoes  ...

Thanks Rickie,

Next weekend i'll try maxmode, but the screens must not run full with information, so much you can't recognize fish coming closer to the transducer.
The speed to the max is a good suggestion for sure.

i'll report if these suggestions work.
Kind Regards Bart
