Title: Where do I need to mount my transducer on a Stratos 268 transom?

I have never attempted this and I would like to get it right.

Start by searching the posts in the forum..Go to the top of the home page and enter search arguments in the search tab. Vary your words.  There is a lot of mounting information and as you will see each installation is or can be different from another similar type of craft.
The transducers are influenced by a lot of factors so I would spend some time on the search and subsequent reading..
You might look in the gallery of some posted pictures.

The installation manual gives you a pretty good idea on where to mount it. You can also mount it on the jackplate if you have one.

the installation manual gives a good possible start, but I would still suggest a search to see what others have posted in this area.
A lot has been said about placement and results.
Goods and bads.....
