Humminbird website
« on: April 21, 2014, 07:19:56 AM »
There must be some problem with the Humminbird website. For a couple of weeks I've tried to contact them through email and every time I have to enter my email address twice for verification it will not go any further. I even tried a different email address that I have and it does the same thing. Also I went in this morning to register a new unit and it will not register after I enter all the required info. Does anyone know what is going on?

In my humble opinion their new site SUCKS! I don't want fancy frilly crap on a web site. They need to go back to basics and make the first thing on the index page a no frills model comparison, transducer comparison & cable comparison. This forum is more questions about things people can't find on Johnson Outdoors/HB site because they keep that info top secret cleverly hidden behind the next fluffy website gizmo, drop down or pop-up.

Each person behind that site design & purchase should be required to have no less then 500 hrs using electronics in winds to 60mph after they backed their $75k boat & trailer behind everything from a 1979 Mazda 2wd pickup to a 40' motor home down 100 different boat ramps and 20 lakes w/o ramps. Then come back and tell us about navigation!
How many cables do you own for gadgets?

skeester,
I am assuming that you filled out all of the required fields something I don’t always do…) it could be that we are having problems with your Internet provider or maybe that web site is down; you may want to try calling them instead.  If needed you can send me your message and I will forward it to one of the CRC Reps.

I'm running windows 7 and I use internet explorer. I don't have the problem anywhere else.

I read that there are some issues with the new website and IE.....Some are recommending trying Google Chrome and having success.

About a month ago I know the email wasn't working on the website. I had to call HB.

There is a problem with IE and the web site.  Not sure if this is tied to one or more versions or not but would try another browser.  I’ve used Google Chrome without issue.
