Title: Onix networking options

I've owned an 798SI for a few years and am looking to add another unit to my boat.  Would the Onix  or for that matter any of the Helix units be compatible to the 798SI if networked together?

I've never used ethernet on the boat so am new to this.

The early 798's are not networkable ...

The later 798's (with "HD" in the model name) are networkable ...

All of the 800, 900, 1100, HELIX 9, HELIX 10, HELIX 12, ONIX are networkable ...
(ONIX to CORE networking limited to waypoint sharing only) ...
