4 798's on my boat help
« on: March 24, 2010, 02:53:00 PM »
I have 4 798's and I want to hook them up all on my ranger
I want to hook two on the bow and 2 on the console. I want to have all of them hooked into an interlink
can I do this?
what all do I need to do this.
I know I need the interlink and a transducer for the trolling motor.
how and what Else should I need to get this accomplished.

I was trying to trade two for a 1197 or 998 with cash but no one was interested so I have to make due with what I have.

any help will be much appreciated..

I want to be able to run Side Image and chartplotter on one and sonar and downlooking on other at same time if possible.

thanks

Dont have the answer but I just have to ask this.    with 4 screens, all beeping and flashing   when will you fish.  Or are you the guide and the other personj fishes.  lol     ;D     Man you should have them fish fighting to get on the hook.
This will be an interesting set up.

I use to run three units on my rig. One on the console, One on the bow, and another unit in the back by the kicker motor for making it easier to observe while fishing from the back of the boat (back-trolling and running cranks) so I would'nt have to keep going up to console for looking at unit.  Made it alot easier.

Course now I don't need the old third unit since I will have my 1197 on the console. ;D
