Title: Thru hull XTH-9-20-T DualBeam transducer usable with 1198?
Post by: bobby on March 12, 2011, 10:18:40 AM
With regard to a thru hull transducer - Customer service told me the XTH-9-20-T DualBeam transducer would not work with the 1198? Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks for the links, the reason I asked was because in another thread it was suggested that I use the XTH-9-20-T as opposed to the SI larger, more expensive one when all I was looking for was a good stable spray free reading at speed. I just didn't know if the customer service person and or site was accurate.  I have experienced inaccurate information before on other manufacturers sites.. thanks for the confirmation
