Sorry for spamming you with new releases.... >:D
I have made a new release. It contains a bugfix for an potential error if you are loading recordings that have already been loaded in an earlier version.
Also I have added a new view: Down imaging. It should behave more or less as the normal/medium setting in the HB.
It can (as always) be downloaded from here: http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk (http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk)
And until Feb. 28 at: http://www.transferbigfiles.com/Get.aspx?id=3ab5097c-f122-4445-b603-581386ec5ddc (http://www.transferbigfiles.com/Get.aspx?id=3ab5097c-f122-4445-b603-581386ec5ddc)

I have set up an ftp account that will allow users to upload files to the server so we can share files easily. I will post the details in another thread soon.

great idea. FTP is easy to use. We can certainly share files more this way. For the S&R part of the forum I really want to help with recordings and the interpretation of the data. this will make the transfer very easy. And for new users here will be a place to get files to proatice with and really learn the unit. Thanks Robert for thinking along these lines. Chuck

For those of us using Vista 64 we cannot open the test file, says it is incompatible with X386 64 bit. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone used Humviewer with Vista 64, any problems?

I am not sure what test file you are referring to.
I have tested HumViewer on a Windows 7 and it runs there without any problems.

Hi Llunker
You can download a test file from http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk (http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk)
Just look for the header saying 'Test recording'

Great additions to Humviewer! ;D
I was just wondering how the DownImage is generated, since Martin told us in a previous topic it was impossible to include in Humviewer since it is piece of software only known to HB?
Is it like adding left and right sides and presenting it in a 90 degree way, or more complicated?

Yes, I know I said that earlier, but Robert helped me in the right direction
It turned out to be as simple as taking an average value of the left and right SI image.
But as I wrote in the release text this is like the Normal/medium setting in the HB. When I get some time I will play with how to get the other settings implemented.

Interesting stuff.
I note that when switching in HB from narrow to wide, there is also like an increase in sensitivity, at least that is what it looks to me.
Thanks Martin,

Martin, on the DI screen the lines are 16, 33, etc. Is there a technical reason for this or could the lines be 10 20 30 etc. I sure could use the change of lines. chuck

Hi Chuck
I will look into changing it. The reason for 16,33 is that I was lazy. It is just the meters converted into ft.

Hi Martin
" The reason is that I was lazy"
We have to do something about that ;D

Dank Martin für alle, die Sie mit diesem Programm getan haben. Es ist zu jeder hier sehr vorteilhaft.
Danke

Hey Martin!
"The reason is that I was lazy"
Huh???? If you were lazy, there would be no Humviewer!
I think I speak for all of us here: What you have done for us is priceless!
Thanks again and always thanks whenever you come out with news ;)

I see the connection with meters. when you get a chance a scale that gives more would get more actual bottom to top definition. dont know if that means 30 40 50 60 or 10 20 30 40. what ever give more actual bottom to surface size. By the way. Great work on what you do. "LAZY" I really doubt that. And look how much you got paid (or is that diid not get paid) Thanks Martin for your time and knowledgre so that others may have an advantage of your program in determining what is it we are seeing underwater.
