new to humviewer
« on: June 09, 2014, 09:44:10 PM »
Hello everyone I'm new to all of this I am a fireman in charge of water rescue.  We purchased a 1198c last year and I'm still trying to figure it all out.  First when I download a recording to my pc it changes to green even though it is brown on the unit how can I correct this?  Also I'm sure last year when in a normal view if you hit the cursor in any direction it took a snapshot of the screen and froze it then you could move the cursor over the item and enlarge it but Now that no longer works.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Brian

Hi, and welcome!

The unit and HumViewer are not operated the same way. HumViewer is a free 3rd party program that is not supported by Humminbird.

In HumViewer:
Change color: right-click on the image and select Color schemes.
Zoom: click the Utilities button, select Zoom and then position the cursor on the view and mark the area  you wish to enlarge.

Regards,
Rickard

For the unit Brian, you will have to set the Screen Snapshot menu (look under the Accessories menu tab) to the “On” setting and have a blank SD or SDHC memory card installed in the unit.  To make the Screen Snapshot you would press the MARK button.

BTW: welcome to the Humminbird Side Imaging Forums.
