With the 997 unit which is the best color/settings to see fish? The river is at or around thirty two degrees so I am figuring the fish are laid up on the bottom as I am not seeing any suspended fish. I have however seen some nice bait balls. I am looking to find catfish/buffalo. Thanks Randy

I mainly use the blue, but the amber 1 is also a huge favourite for some guys!

For me, I think the blue is easiest to spot on...but perhaps thats do to adjusting to that color. Sun glare is my main nemesis out on the river, so I try to go with what displays best in those conditions. Amber is good too though as previously stated.
