huge balled up schools of Channel catfish
« on: January 10, 2014, 04:15:16 PM »
These are fish I found yesterday and they were stacked up so thick caught lots and lots on minnows was hunting crappie but so much fun I just stayed. The prop wash is actualy me throwing my seadoo powered jon boat in reverse makes excellent stop now braking.
I use default colors for 2d and DI but change them for better viewing with posting I think.

Greg In bottom two pictures why is only top 10% of water column showing? anyone? and most of picture double and triple echo? sensitivity to hot???
Another question is I'm hungry for a new I-pilot TM probably the v2. My 999 is on console am I understanding right I can link it and tell it to go to any way point on my 999 ? and tell it to stay there from the 999? also looking at the new 800 series for bow. can they link to V2 i-pilot or only 900 series and up?

In Humviewer...right click on the image and then change the "Crop to" value to the the one that looks the best to you....

In the 3rd pic...the Sensitivitly may be too hot for the bottom detail...but it sure is making the fish echos pop out....sometimes it's necessary to run sensitivity way up to get certain "parts" of the image to show like you want...

You should be able to use the link with any of the 800 and 900 series units.  You will need the current software release to support the link.

I would go the extra for the Terrova instead of the PD......You loose the foot pedal with the PD, but not the Terrova.  It is still handy sometimes to use the foot pedal.
**Looking for the one that makes it all worthwhile**

Agreed. I like having the remote and pedal. I also like the stow and deploy that Terrova uses. I got the saltwater model just to increase longevity!
