Title: Update version 6.74 problem?

Updated my 1198c si with the latest update and now my i cannot change the scroll speed between SI, DI and 2D sonar. When I change it for one it changes all of them. Anyone else have this problem or advise?

Fishnfool1011,

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe some other users will chime in on this and correct me if I am wrong.  I am still running older software right now, but the chart speed has always been the same for SI,DI, and 2D as far as I remember.  Unless it was changed in a later update!

I've ran my 1197 all the way thru the version releases from 4.700 - 6.640 (and back down to 6.310)...

I don't recall ever being able to set the scroll speeds separately...

I have heard this discussed and requested many times...(I wonder if this is already in the wish list?)...

The scroll speeds for all the sonar have always been tied together.
Having seperate scroll speeds for each type of sonar would be cool though...

thanks guys for the info. now it won't drive me crazy. lol! for some reason i had it in my mind that each one was independent.  it's really good to be around others who share the same passion for this stuff as i do. thanks for welcoming me; this site rocks! lots of good information to learn from. once again, thanks!
