Reading speed at WOT
« on: June 28, 2010, 11:23:05 PM »
I have a 998 transducer mounted on the transome and cannot get depth reading above troll speed.  Reads 300-400ft.  What am I doing wrong?

Can you post some pictures of your transducer installation.  Sounds like you are gettingsome air or turbulence under the transducer.

It may need to be lowered in the water.
