I have noticed a change in the number of trackpoints exported by SIView from my recordings this spring.
Recordings I made in the fall averaged about 5K track points per hour, while this spring, I am getting about 10K points per hour.
I have of course updated my 1197 software since then, and I assume the improved GPS update rate has something to do with this?
Interestingly, I record at about 4.5mph, so I cover about 24,000 feet in an hour. I have the trackpoint interval set at 16ft, and the GPS update maxxed at 1/sec.
So, you would think I would get 3600 GPS readings per hour based upon the GPS update rate, or 1480 readings based upon the distance interval.
I understand the tracklog generation may have nothing to do with the SIView export, but something has changed - can anybody enlighten me?
