Title: Gps points loaded on sd card from HB PC
Post by: Smashman on March 20, 2013, 10:18:11 PM
I have manually added gps coordinates through HB PC onto a sd card. The dumb question is as follows:

what is best, to load them from the card onto the unit or just leave then on the card. I was thinking of having a few sd cards with for the different areas as Western Australia is a big place.

Or does the unit just keep them on the memory for the ones I load from the sd card?

Welcome to the forum. When you load the waypoints onto the SD card and stick it in the unit, the unit will automatically load them and keep them in memory.  The unit does keep them in memory, so you would have to export and delete the nav data each time when you want to insert a new card for a new area.

I also have another question. Do I need to go back and load the di update, or will the latest update cover this di?

The latest update will always include the previous updates before it.
