Title: 788ci combo nvb buttons unresponsive

Hello,

I have a 788ci and the power button, 3 preset buttons and the arrow cursor buttons aren't working. Anyone have any ideas of how to fix?

At this point I just want to use the unit as a gps but can't get to the settings to turn off the sonar. If you can think of any other way to get to that point I be very appreciative!

I would first check the battery (load tested?) and all the wiring connections to the unit...

These units do some weird stuff when they don't have ample power supply...

IS THE UNIT ON A QUICK RELEASE?

IF SO ONE OF THE CONNECTIONS MAY BE BAD?
