Title: I'm struggling with Humminbird PC
Post by: freezerfiller on January 28, 2013, 08:32:52 PM
OK, I formatted my card, plugged it into the unit, and recorded a track in simulator mode, as well as took a few snapshots.  I plugged the card into the pc and I see the files for the two recorded tracks and the snapshots, using windows explorer. but I can't even see them on HBPC, only the folders.  I can actually open the snapshot from explorer on my photo program, but not in hbpc?  It has some .son and some .idx files on it, but nothing I can open with hbpc.... :-\

Ok, I'm going to have to call it for the night.  It appears the simulated weather is getting pretty rough... ;D

You can not use HumminbirdPC to view recordings. You may want to use a free program called Hummviewer to view recordings. It accepts the files without you having to convert them.
