If I understand you correct you have succesfully loaded your recording file, correct ?

If so, you should have a text saying 'Play' with checkbox underneath. Press with the mouse in the checkbox. Another to start the play, is the press your 'p' key.

Else, please make a screenshot of your screen and post it here, then we will try to help you from there.

When you open Humviewer do you have "Humviewer - No File in the upper left corner?

The next row down is File,Settings, Tools, Help

The next row down in an outlined square is 3 View, Grid, Wayp.

The next square to the right is hh,mm,ss, speed, play (in faded letters), Backw.

"Play" stays faded until the data is loaded.

Check and see if this is what you have on the top three rows.

Also, depending on your file size it may take a long time to load it.  I like to keep my recordings around 30 minutes.

What screen resolution are you using on your computer ?

If you are using less than 1024x768 that is the problem.

It looks like the download did not go right.  delete the current version and reload the program and download again.  you are definately missing the minutes and play.  try the reload.   and get back to us.  chuck

Have you tried downloading  directly from Martin's site?  If not you may want to give it a try.

http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk/

First off I would go to my Control Panel then to Add Remove Programs and remove Humviewer from your computer and then restart your computer before downloading it again.  I have had problems with other software which had to be totally removed and reinstalled to get it to work.

Don't know if this will work, but computers sometimes have a mind of their own, maybe this will get rid of the problem.  I think it is worth a try, HumViewer is worth the trouble.

if the program loads correctly you should see the following screen.  this is before you open the recording.  you should have the top couple of lines which include the play option.   chuck

Good deal.  I am beginning to think the internet cant handle all the traffic and messes up the packets on total data sent.  This is not the first problem with segmented files and down loads.  Not only here but other programs as well.  thanks for hanging in there and getting this fixed.  you will really like the humviewer.   chuck
