Humminbird Wide Side Vision 3D - TS1-WS-3D switch
« on: May 27, 2013, 05:49:01 PM »
I have a Humminbird Wide Side Vision 3D. I also have the old TS1-WS-3D switch to change between the side-looking sonar and the down-looking sonar. Unfortunately, a family of raccoons took up residence and chewed the wires off the switch. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the switch circuit board? I need to re-solder the wires, but have no idea which of each of the multitude of wires should be soldered at each solder joint. Each solder joint has a number from 1 to 22.

A picture of the circuit board with the wires attached would be the simplest.

Another helpful bit of information is if anyone knows the function of each of the pins on a 7 pin cable. I know the color of the wire and the corresponding pin, but I don't know what each pin is for, other than pin 7.

I have tried searching the internet for a 3D switch, but when looking for 18 year-old technology, it's impossible to find even a used switch.

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Side Imaging Forums jaconnett.

This is such an old accessory that I do not have any data on the wiring of the switch or data on the cable pins other than the center pin is Ground.

I have been drawing out a wiring diagram of the switch. I will be conducting a few tests to confirm wiring is accurately diagrammed. Once the tests are completed successfully, I will provide a copy of the diagram to anyone interested.
