GPS Heading sensor not being recognized
« on: March 13, 2016, 11:46:44 PM »
I just installed a new Helix 10 on the bow to run 360 and when I went to select the external Heading GPS sensor to find it was not showing up on the list.  It is only listing the internal GPS.  So I got the 999 I used last year with no problems and found that this unit is also not finding the external GPS.  Can these sensors go bad?

If you have them networked you might not see the menu to select the external. Disconnect the ethernet cable and power your helix up and see if you can select it then. Call HB for help if you still are having a problem. And the gps can go bad but make sure you have good voltage to the units first(recharge the  battery maybe)
