ALL SI Models - Ability to select HWR file
« on: July 10, 2011, 09:39:52 AM »
Model:
ALL SI Models
Suggested Upgrade:
Ability to select HWR file
Explanation:
Currently the system automatically loads Data.hwr  upon insertion of the SD card.
Please give us the ability to create multiple HWR files and select the file to be loaded.
This would make it possible to eliminate the need to maintain multiple SD cards.Saltwater fisherman generally have more than the 2000~3000 point limit. This is a standard feature of the competition.

I think that this will be addresses if and when the Waypoint Management software is finally released.  Before anyone asks: I do not know when that will be.

I’ll have to ask the Marketing Manager about this the next time I see him.  It was my understanding that you would be able to select the *.hwr file that you wanted to load along with being able to group the waypoints.

Greg,
Have you had a chance to speak to the marketing manager?

No I have not seen him in quite a while.  I went ahead and sent an e-mail off to him though and will try and post any information he has on this.
