No, the link for the video was not correct.  The video was also on youtube.

Why did they not add the 898 unit as well for the folks that have those.  I thought the compueter ships in the 898, 997 and 1197 were basically the same...or that is what we were told last year in a seminar hosted by a Humminbird tech.  Also, i do realize the 898 and 997 have the same pixels with the 1197 being different...is that correct ?

calli,

I posted a detailed response in your other post.  Short and simple, no they are not the same.  Each unit has slight differences that make it necessary to have different updates.  Especially in the new models vs old models.  They actually changed the OS software in the new models.

Trytoofish, I have a 997c SI Combo on the console & on the trolling motor I have a 798CI. They're both hooked into each other w/Interlink. Now when you posted that both units must have the 5.210 updated version for the Interlink to work properly...I went online to Humminbird to view my profile...the 997 update available is the 5.320 version & the 798 update available is the 5.210 version. So are you just saying that both units have to have at least the 5.210 or higher versions for the Interlink to work correctly? Thanks for all of your help

Irishrover,
For the InterLink to work, both units would need to be running software that is version:
4.995 or lower
or
5.210 of higher.

But the 5.210 software (and higher version numbers as of today) has not always worked either… So I would contact the Humminbird Customer folks and ask for the 4.995 software for each of your units until they can come out with a newer version of software that works better with the InterLink.
