Title: Feature comparison between the models

Hi. Is there a feature comparison between the models? How about link compatible? I've looked at the Humminbird site but not very helpful especially considering I have an older model (1197c si). Would like to get the autochart live for the Canadian lake we fish but don't want to give up the networking in the boat.

The Helix 9, 10, and 12 are Ethernet ready units.....The problem is you will probably have to update your 1197 to the highest rev for the comm to be compatible .. and the software revisions above 6.310 for the 1197 has problems.

One big difference is that the helix 9 comes with the compact transducer and the Helix 10-12 comes with the HDSI transducer ... which is the same as your 1197, if you are looking for another SI unit.

There are other considerations if you are considering a DI/Gps or 2D/GPS unit.
