Lakemaster and 998 HD C SI?
« on: February 25, 2015, 04:59:21 PM »
I'm looking to buy the newest version but it's confusing to my simple mind. I see version 2 2014 in the Humminbird factory outlet store then it says in red replaced by 6000009-3. I guess this means it's latest version? Also, will this card load slower than my Navionics chip in my 998? I've seen some complaints about loading speed in some of the **97 models.
Thanks

With updates software the maximum Water Level Offset should be -200 feet.
Be sure that you are not looking at the Heading Line Offset which is +/- 30 degrees.

thanks Greg, I was going by what I saw on Doug's video. I hope it's 200', my home lake has been over 50' low for 3 years now.
Thanks again

Step 1: Update the software in your unit.
Step 2: get a really long water hose and start filling that lake back up!  ;D
