Title: Do you have to select which card for recording?

Weather not looking good but hope to try out some recording and screen captures next week
I have 2 cards in the 798ciHD SI
One is my Navionics charts and the other is for recording
Do I have to tell the sounder which card to select for recording?
FWIW, my Navionics is in the right slot and the unused card is in the left slot

Your Navionics card should be "locked" to prevent it from being written to. Your unit will chose the other SD card.

I was thinking along those lines but wasn't sure,
Will lock the Navionics off in the morning,
