Title: 998 transducer location on Ranger 520
Post by: djpair on February 20, 2012, 03:37:21 PM
Can anyone tell me if the location pictured would work well.  I do not have a jackplate so finding a good mounting area for the transducer is a little tough.  Thanks,  David

DJ, I would give some consideration to the couple of pieces left and right of the transducer as possibly creating air bubble at times.
You also might try looking in the gallery on the fourm of others pictures as it relates to your setup in the back..
It does not take long to browse the gallery...

And after you get the transducer mounted (whether in this location or another) post images of the install and some screen snapshots from your 998c Si unit.  This will help other Ranger 520 boat owners.
