Man Overboard (MOB) can it be deActivated
« on: October 03, 2014, 12:04:04 PM »
I have a 998 upgraded to software 7.090
have a minnkota i-Pilot Link.
When I try to Create a Route using the Cursor and GOTO Key it sets of the MOB. and turns of the minn Kota.
MOB is activated even if I hold the goto key less then 1.5 seconds
this did not happen with the old up date.
Is there any way to get it of the 998 or deactivate it.
Thanks

I can cancel navigation

Can't Create a Route using the Cursor and GOTO Key you touch the goto button and the MOB red man comes up.
follow the contour works good when using the goto key

Quote
[Navigation X-Press menu] [Cancel MOB] [right cursor] It also sets a red waypoint that you can delete as well.

There is no way to deactivate the MOB function.

Correct.

Disconnecting the GPS would also deactivate it as it is a GPS related function...
