Title: Helix 9 SI -- XI 9 20 Ice transducer
Post by: jgardner2033 on January 08, 2017, 12:05:51 AM
Hey guys, I just bought an ice transducer for my Helix 9 SI, It says clearly on the HB website that the XI 9 20 model is compatible with side imaging units including the Helix 9, it just says that you need to select quad beam as your transducer or dual beam for units without quad beam. Neither of these are an option when i go to select my transducer.

Nonetheless I can get the 2D sonar to work with the vertical flasher, however I would really like to have the round flasher available in Ice Mode on all of the non side imaging units. Does anybody know if this is possible or how to do so?

Anything helps, thank you in advance!

Directly from the HB FAQ ...

-----

Did you cursor left and right in the "Connected Transducer" "Menu" to see all the available choices ...??

I was told by HB that flasher mode is only available on the Helix 5 & 7 and even if they have side imaging despite what their Q&A section says. I'm curious what you found out.
