hello guys, my name is javier, im from spain, so first of all sorry for my english, i know i will make some mistakes :)
secondly, i would like to know if you think that humminbird 598 is a good option, i use to fish catfish or carp, i want this unit to find out structures mainly, i also have the possibility to buy the 698 but as i can see the resolution is better in the first one, what do you think about this? i also thought about a helix 7, but im not sure

The horizontal screen resolutions in those 3 models are varied from narrow (in the 698) to wide (in the HELIX) ...

Wider (horizontal) screen resolution is beneficial in SI imaging ...
Taller (vertical) screen resolution is beneficial in 2d and DI imaging ...

If your interest is in vertical presentationn ... Any of the 3 would be ok ...
If your interest is in horizontal for SI ... The HELIX definitely has an advantage ...

The HELIX is also the current production (which will receive updates and service-ability longer) ...
