Suggested Upgrade:	Ability to create maps
Explanation:	Lakemaster, Navionics and base map do not have a lot of lakes on them. This would allow users to record data to sd card upload to SW and create actual map on a sd card. Seems with the JO purchase of Lakemaster they could release a vector db "creator" with the LM specific format and encryption. I know Dr Depth can do a map hack for HB. It is not a real map, each lake done with this hack uses up your track point allocation on the HB unit. You are limited to the # of lakes you can add at one time.

I agree my local lakes are not on any mapping cards and I would like to create a map of my favorite lake. I see that Lowrance has this feature and may sell both my HB units if custom maps are not enabled soon.  8)

Look at this posting and you will see that maps can be made by DrDepth and do not take up your track allocation in the unit the map is used in:

The maps I show in this post are only one track and the depth labels are from the waypoint file.
