The 798 units are shipped with the GR50 GPS Receiver.  This change was made prior to starting shipping (but after boxes, advertisements and all were made/written).

FWIW, my box says GR50 but user manual does not mention it.  The original press release and 2009 product guide booklet said 50 channel as well.  The website data is wrong, which Greg and I discussed before.

Can someone translate?  I'm looking at upgrading to a 798.  What do I need to know?  Don't want to get caught behind the curve again!  Bought my 788 just before the HD model came out.

Translate what?
It would be best if you started a new topic under the 798c Si area of the web site.
