easysailor,
Do you happen to have a screen snapshot of what the Si sonar looked like at this same time?  I don’t think that a dirty transducer would cause this.

Hey easy I'm getting a lot worse pic's these were all with the 6.61 I first thought it was RF noise but after working to correct it I find it still happens even when drifting it seems to go away if I change the sensitivity but will reappear if the depth changes or the locators hick ups I have also got what I will call power spikes unit just flickers and its gone or it comes back

I have tested this when drifting and when the big motor is running and it still happens under each circumstance

I think this is a software issue that HB is having as it didn't happen with 6.4 software

a few picks

I resolved the problem by going back to the version 6.31. It happen when I upgraded to 6.6. I thought maybe something happened to my equipment or connections. But that wasn't the case. Version 6.6 seems to have real problems. Display is back to normal.
