program to open .SON file extension?

(1/1)

EPzeronine:
Hi everyone,

I have a Humminbird 1197C SI combo that I recently used for some side imaging. but any program I seem to try to open the file with doesn't recognize the .SON extension.

It comes in both .SON and .IDX but the larger files are in the .SON format so I assume that's what I need to open.

Anyone ever run into this?

Thanks!

Rickard:
Hi,

You must start with the .DAT file. The .DAT file is located at the folder level above the folder with data (the folder with the .IDX and .SON files). The .DAT file and the folder with data have the same names, an R followed by a number.
