"no data found" when importing .gpx files into Dr Depth
« on: August 09, 2012, 07:07:41 AM »
Hi

When trying to import files into DD I get the error message "No data found".

Ive tried it loads of different files but every file I get the same issue.

Does anyone have any idea's on what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance

Rich

Hi Rich

Click on IMPORT/CONVERT - open the folder with your sonarfile - in this folder you must have B000.SON B001.SON B002.SON ... files - make them all blue and click on open. Thats my way and it works.

Hi there

I dont have the option for .son files only .gpx , .txt and .csv and then a garmin and lowrance extension.

I have tried converting to a .csv file using gps babel but the conversion seems to drop the depth tag and just converts the co-ordinates.

This is driving me potty !

Thanks for the reply.
