Not sure what state you're looking for but wait until q1 2012 for some new lakemaster maps and compare to what you want to use.

What do you expect to be coming out or updates from LakeMaster?  I would to see a number of new chips throughout the year.

I emailed Lakemaster and they said, "New 2012 products will be released the first part of 2012."

So.. I hope it is q1

I would love to have a lakemaster card for texas but I will take what I  can get.

Lake Master already has a Texas/Oklahoma Chip, I have had it for several months and love it.  Before purchasing make sure they have your lake(s) listed.  The cost for the map is around $100.

George , what software version does my 997 need to run the lake master card. It has the 5.450. Is this good. Im new to the whole bird world and dont know much about all of this stuff. thanks Jamie

I believe the software revision 5.450 should be compatible with Lakemaster.

Most of the updates for this year are compatible with Lake Master

Please remember when updating to RESTORE your system before updating, it may not be as important today, but it is a good practice.  I like to restore my system then shut it down, then install the update chip and then turn it on and follow the instructions.
