797, 798 or 997 for sale? I buy!
« on: June 10, 2009, 03:00:40 AM »
Hi! I would like to buy one of above models. My budget is 1000 USD. for the 797 a lot less of course. I would prefer a european model but it is not most important. I have friends travelling to US, New York that may pick up the peace in July.
PayPal or any other secure payment is offered.
 Diver /geologist thank you.
PS! If you have a magnetometer for marine use I am interested?
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter

I have an Americam model 798c SI which I will be selling soon.  I bought it from America and did not realise about the Int / American difference.  I am very happy with the units performance but I do need the International model.  I have now ordered this from the UK and will sell my American unit when it arrives.  You say your budget is $1000, this would be about 600 UK pounds, this would be a big loss on what I paid however I must expect this and would accept this amount.  Please reply if you are interested.

Regards Ian Kay

Re: 797, 798 or 997 for sale? I buy!

Hi Peter

I have my International model 798c SI now and so am able to sell the American one when you are ready.  All the hardware; quad beam transducer; GPS antenna; brackets; leads; screws etc from the American model were installed on my boat and so I have not removed them.   I have taken only the new International control unit out from the box and replaced it with the American one and this is what I will sell.  Everything you will get is new except the American control unit which is nearly new.

I have not yet advertised this and am quite happy to wait a few weeks if required.  I am going on holiday from 31 July to 16 Aug and so will be unavailable during this time.  I am very happy for you to pick this up yourself if you wish but it will be expensive for you.

Best Wishes Ian Kay
