Title: dr depth not showing side scan

i am having trouble getting dr depth to work the scan mosaic is greyed out, it says cable connected and reads gps, i have herd that there are issues with some soft where upgraded s ie.6.6, could this be my problem?

as your problem come after upgrading your unit.?
i get a problem like this, after upgrading drdepht every thing are ok.

i tried to up grade using my link, but is is locked as he has sold the company?
have you found another way to up grade

for the last version go on user site for drdepht
i don't know if it's work
after you can go on anterior upgrad to your unit

Thanks for that i downloaded 5.1 say upgraded to work with new humminbird information

hi

I think your firmware version is the problem. To my knowledge, the 6.6er version is no supported. So you have to go back in the firmware version.

so the dr depth will not work with 6.6? i had 6.18 huminbird and it did not work with 4.18 dr depth, what version have you got to work?

hi

I use DrDepth 5.1.8 BTSS and 5.4 as firmware of HB.
Now I have sought and read in DrDepth forum that the HB firmware up to 6.49 is supports .

I currently run Drdepth5.1.8SS and HB 6.49 on 1198 works fine

thanks i have just up graded to 5.4 dr depth but is asking for the internet for code i have the code from last time do i need to go back the par? i do not have internet on the boat, or is there a way round it i can not see?

type error, i see par say down load data if you do not have the internet however on his web site the support is not working, so i will try and tether my phone

my 1197 came back with 6.6 soft ware, last time i tried to wind it back it crashed, tried dr depth 5.5 same problem  in scan the mosaic is grayed out, will humminbird upgrade dr depth now they own it to work with there latest software?? if so when?

can you make a screen capture of your problem with drdepht and post it,?.
i have not the same thing, before upgrading drdepht, it's not showing mosaïc.
all thing are ok now it's why i'm not upgrade my 898 after this problem.
drdepht is a nice soft and i don't want to loose it !

hi

If you want to use DrDepth 5.1.8 you will have no choice but to reset your unit to 6:49.
Whether Jonson's Outdors, the new owner of DrDepth, will update the software and this for free :( , I do not think so, but remains to be seen.

the only problem is that there is not a 6.4 for the 1197 what about 6.18 as they are both available for the 1198 and the 1197?

The main thing is not higher than 6:49, deeper is not a problem.
Ask Greg where you can download the appropriate firmware.
