new Auto chart sd card says not formated
« on: December 15, 2015, 09:28:44 PM »
I have a new auto chart card that I recorded some info on today that I wanted to map. when I put the card in the computer it pops a box that says (SD card in E drive is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?)
Should I or shouldn't I do this? I don't want to screw up my card. I have never used the auto chart before so trying to figure it out here.

As a computer guy the answer is no if you do that it will wipe it clean.
If you keep getting that message you should copy everything from that card to a folder on your computer then format it with your computer and then copy the files back to the card.
