Humminbird PC
« on: January 10, 2011, 03:48:25 PM »
After opening Humminbird PC and I try to open a waypoint/track/Route in Google Earth I get a dialogue box open that says "google earth runtime exception." Any ideas what may be causing this problem. I am using IE browser .

Geoff,
What version of HumminbirdPC are you running?
Make sure that you are running the latest version of HumminbirdPC (3.2.0) as I thought the Google Earth Runtime Exception Error this had been fixed.

You can update the unit by downloading the update to your pc and writing it on an sd card.  then follow the instruction to update the unit using the sd card...

Good guideline.

Another hint from rgecy:

With no SD card in the unit, power it on.
Restore the defaults.
Insert the SD card with the update on it.
Follow the prompts.  YES you want install new update and NO you dont want to abort.
Screen should flash and update should take about 15-20 seconds.
The unit will reboot
Remove the SD card
Restore the defaults again.
