Alternate Power Supply
« on: July 01, 2012, 02:01:19 PM »
Got tired of replacing batteries while using my 789ci si combo with the PC, so
I started looking for other remedies. I found a Laptop power supply made by Rocketfish
that works perfectly.
The model # is RF-NBAC, Output is 12-19VDC/3A 40Watts Max.
I canabalized the battery cable and soldered on two small pins that connect to the power supply
cable....be sure to observe the correct polarity. When everything is powered up, the status screen shows exactly 12 volts. Oh yea, $39 at Best Buy.
