Title: Networking Question for Helix
Post by: Steve Schmidt on July 13, 2020, 07:21:04 AM
So I have 4 Helix G2 un its, (3) Helix 10 and (1) Helix 12 . I have have my Ultrex  112, as well as a Non mega 360 Image. That makes 6 units, I have a switch under the my dash to bring all the erthent cables too. Is there a splitter or adapter to add the 360 or disconnet the Ultrex from the nework and hook the 360 up to it. Is there any real value in have the Ultrex on the network? The last option by a second switch, and a short cable. Please share any input you all may have.

I believe Wayne answered your question at bbc  ...

Here is his reply:

If you want 6 connections, you need two AS ETH 5PXG Ethernet Switches. You connect the two Switches with an Ethernet cable and that gives you 8 ports for device connections.
You should already know if iPilot LINK is useful to you.
